Charlene T. Stevenson Nagy, 65 Of Alexandria, Virginia At 5:30 AM on Monday 5/6/19 @(Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, went to be with our Lord after complications from cancer, was surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Luisville, Kentucky on October 22, 1953 to parents Charles Vernon and Mary Elizabeth (Lesho) Stevenson. Married to John F. Nagy on 12/24/81 until his passing on 8/24/2017. Charlene’s pride and joy was her daughter (baby girl, Deanna Joy Mushero) and her grandson (Timothy W. Mushero, Jr. (TJ, Stinkpot who could do no wrong in her eyes). Charlene worked as an RN at Mount Vernon Hospital for 30 years, retired in October 2017. Charlene had many friends/co-workers who she cherished and loved from the bottom of her heart. Her patients meant the world to her. She took pride in her job and responsibilities as an RN. Charlene was preceded in death by her father: Charles Vernon Stevenson, her brother: Stephen Charles Stevenson, and by her husband: John Francis Nagy. Charlene is survived by her mother: Mary Elizabeth (Lesho) Stevenson, her sister: Susanne Stevenson, her daughter: Deanna Joy Mushero (Timothy Wayne Sr.), her grandson: Timothy Wayne Mushero Jr. (TJ), her nieces: Angela, Crystal and Stephanie (Stevenson) plus many great nieces and a great nephew, and many cousins. Meaningful Expressions of Love: as expressed by family and friends. Charlene Never met a stranger, she had Saint Anthony (patron of lost things) on speed dial; she would go out of her way for anyone, she would bring home every stray cat or dog, she made time for every person in need of anything, she had a heart of gold, she had a major impact on everyone she met. She had a tendency to be late, she had ten thumbs and nicknamed “Grace” as a joke, she was not materialistic, “take me as I am” type of lady with no airs about her, she beat to her own drum.
