James Ray O'Neill

James Ray O'Neill, age 85 of Arlington, passed away peacefully at his home on June 9, 2019. He was born on April 14, 1934 in Corsicana, Texas, the son of John Thomas O'Neill and Myrtle Phillip O'Neill. James married Shirley Rhodes and they celebrated 60 years of marriage together. James proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Following his service, James worked as a master plumber, even owning his own business, O'Neill Plumbing. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, taking cruises, and was an avid wrestling fan. James is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughters Linda Tubbs, Pamela O'Neill, and Frances Sexton; grandchildren Shane Greenhaw, Steve Tubbs, Michael O'Neill, and Joshua Sexton; great grandchildren Tamela Greenhaw, Jason Greenhaw, and MacKinzey Sexton. Visitation will be Saturday, June 15 from 2:00-4:00pm, with funeral service beginning at 4:00pm at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 1:15pm on Tuesday, June 18 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
