Gordon Russell Bell

Gordon Russell Bell, 75, of Assiniboia, SK, passed away on November 18, 2018 in Assiniboia, SK Gordon was born on March 9, 1943 in Gravelbourg, SK to Russell & Marie Bell. He went to school in Port Arthur, ON, Vantage, SK and Assiniboia, SK. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He married Donna Sinclair on June 17, 1967 in Assiniboia, SK. He worked for Dominion Bridge in Regina, SK and Calgary, AB. He and his family returned to Assiniboia, SK in 1986. Gordon is predeceased by his parents Russell and Marie Bell, his in-laws Herbert and Vinona Sinclair, and sister Brenda (David) Holly. Gordon is survived by his wife Donna Bell; two sons, Geoffrey (Jessica) Bell and Christopher (Nadine) Bell; sisters Louise Bell and Carole (Richard) Ward; grandchildren Derek, Carson and Aaron Bell; great-grandchildren Zayden Hicks and Leah Newton-Bell; nephew Michael (Tricia) Ward and Donna's siblings: Denise (Bob) Girouard, Leon (Marilyn) Sinclair and Cameron (Sheila) Sinclair and their families. Celebration of Gordon’s life will be held at the 55 Club, Assiniboia, SK, Friday, December 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Les Wilcock presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gordon may be given directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
