Baljit Dhaliwal - Beloved wife of late Lt Col. Kirpal S Dhaliwal. Loving mother of Suman, Ajai and Sunny. Cherished grandmother of Prerna, Aditya, Ramon, Arjun, Shagun and Shreya. Caring mother-in-law of Rami, Ritu and Gudia. Her cheer and liveliness will be greatly missed. There wasn’t much more in life that Baljit cherished greater than the company of her dear family and friends. Adored and remembered by all for her compassion, gratitude and sociable nature she was quick to bring a smile to everyone’s face. The word ‘stranger’ was amiss to her, it was only a matter of moments before she was deep in conversation with anyone. Children and adults alike, she was always able to find something to connect with them about. It is often easy to be get absorbed in the day to day complexities of life and forget that it is just our experiences and memories that truly matter. Although we are all deeply saddened by her sudden departure, one cannot help but think of the impact she has had on everyone around her and be grateful for the memories we share with her.
