Jean Sophronia (Ross) McMurchy

November 11, 1919 - October 4, 2019 Jean passed peacefully in her 100th year at Mackenzie Health, Long Term Care, Richmond Hill. Jean was born in King township, the only child of Herb and Mary Ross. Jean lived in King Township and Aurora, all her life and in the family home on Victoria Street in Aurora for 50 years. Beloved wife of the late Marshall McMurchy. Survived by five children, Mary Anne (Al Putland), Betty Lou (Jim Carney), Carol (Dave Wagg), Ross McMurchy, and Marjorie (Steve Persaud). Dear grandmother of Jim Carney Jr.( Julie), Chris Carney (Karen), Jackie Carney (Rajesh Grover), Jennifer Wagg (Ivar D’Silva), Cameron Wagg (Andrea Reid) and Carolyn Wagg ( Nathan Howe). Great grandmother to Sarah & Rhett Carney, Avani & Tarak Grover, Emma & Olivia D’Silva, Lila & Abigail Wagg. Visitation for Jean will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 12noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 pm at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G6W8. Private Family Interment King City Cemetery.
