Obituary of Christina Diaz
Christina Nicol Diaz was born April 21, 1987, in Compton California and departed October 2, 2019 with family at her side. Tina was very outgoing, always the life of the party as many would say. She could make anyone’s day better. She somehow always knew the right time to call you when you were feeling down. Tina always had a way to make someone say yes, or okay. Never ever taking no for an answer; It was hard to say no to a person like Tina. Her love was family, no matter if she felt excepted or not. She would show up and say HEY! Never scared to express or show who she was. She was one to give advice but never take it. How she could make you so mad, but after five, ten minutes you couldn’t help but just let it go. She was like a fortune cookie; you never knew what she is going to surprise you with. There were two little people in her life that she loved dearly; her boys meant the world to her. No matter what time of day it was, she would wake me up just to talk about them. Tina didn’t have to be rich to live life; she could eat ramen noodle soup with eggs on top and call it Chinese food. Tina never had to look for adventure, because it always found her. Definitely the most infectious personality of anyone I know. Tina always talked about traveling, wanting to see new places, even talked about visiting those family members that lived far out. Now she will be able to go anywhere she wants with the stretch of her new wings; alongside with our grandmother whom we never got to meet. If one thing I can assure you is, she will always be smiling watching over us all with no more pain and in peace. And one day welcome you to your new home in heaven. A heaven has truly gained an amazing angel. She touched many lives and loved deeply. Her life was a living example of bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as god also forgave you in Christ.” Proceeded by her grandmother, Ernestina De Leon and grandfather, Nicolas De Leon. Tina was a sister, mother and daughter and is survived by her sons, Kodi Phomvisory, Maddox Phomvisory; their father, Kit Phomvisory; mother, Mary Martinez; sisters, Paloma Diaz and children Carlos Garza, Jazel Garza, Eleena Garza, sister, Selena Martinez; brother, Christopher Villalpando and daughter Riley Villalpando and other extended family. Visitation 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress with Prayer Service to begin at 2:00 pm.
