Betty Jo Baggett, 85, of Beaumont, passed away on July 9, 2019 in Beaumont. Betty was born on January 15, 1934 in Beaumont. She is preceded in death by the husband of sixty- eight years; Terrell “A.T.” Baggett and parents; William Joseph DeRise and Annie Mae Nicklebrough.
Betty was a faithful member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaumont. Betty loved cooking and spending time with her family. She was a very talented seamstress and interior decorator. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband Terrell.
Betty is survived by her son; Bill Baggett and Terry Dee of Lumberton, daughters; Beki Burton of Beaumont, Cathy Dodds and husband Michael of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Gathering to Share Memories of Betty will be held Saturday July 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be held Saturday July 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
