Louise Boutte

Louise Boutte, 93, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on July 8, 2019. Louise was born on September 20, 1926 in Orange City, Florida to the late Elenor Bland and Dorland Smith. Louise was member of Trinity Methodist Church where she loved to participate in Sunday School Bible studies. She was an active participant in the annual Trinity Rummage Sale. She was an active member of the Cashan Grotto Women’s Auxiliary where she served as President for three years and Treasurer for about 20 years. She loved social activities and travel with several groups – Fun Bunch RV Club, Shriner’s RV Club and Cashan Grotto RV Club. She loved to fish, where she prided herself in catching the biggest crappie each time. She was also an avid domino and card player with her friends. Some of her favorite games were: 42 Dominos, Pachino, Nickle Nickle, and Poker. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elenor Bland, her Step-father Thermon Bland, and her twin sister and best friend, Josephine Irving. Louise is survived by her husband of almost 75 years, Pete Boutte, her son Ron Boutte, her daughter-in-law Jane Boutte, grandchildren, Calin C. Boutte, Shelby K. Morris, Ashlea N. Griffin and four great grandchildren. A Celebration of Louise’s Life will take place at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703 at 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 11, 2019. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A reception will be held following the services at Shrine Building located at 2610 Sweetgum Ln, Beaumont, Texas 77703.
