Travis James Dyson

Travis James Dyson, 32, of Lumberton, passed away on June 23, 2019 in Beaumont. Travis was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his father; Obie Dyson and grandfathers; Zack Lucas, Sr., Obie Dyson II, and grandmother; Elsie Dyson. Travis graduated high school from Little Cypress Mariceville High School in 2005 and went on to play college football for Texas Lutheran College. Travis was a very loving person and always willing to help others. He is survived by his mother; Carolyn Mercer and step-father Craig Mercer, grandmother; Ethylene C. Lucas, sisters; Candace Robson and husband Jared, Kristina Dyson, step-sister; Carrie Irvin and husband Chris, step-brother; Russell Mercer and wife Johanna, nieces; Caitlyn Robson, Haylie Robson, Chiara Mercer, nephews; Jase Robson, Chandler Irvin, great nephew; Kai Sonnier, and numerous family and friends. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Wednesday June 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
