Maureen "Mimi" Cagle

Maureen “Mimi” Cagle, born on May 26, 1946, passed away at the age of 73, during the night of August 31st at her home in Bowie. Her death preceded that of her husband, Ronald P. Cagle by 25 years. The daughter of Lucille and John Dennis, she is survived by her sister, Barbara Beach with whom she resided, Leslie Dell of Baltimore and john Dennis, Sr., of Jessup. Her brother-in-law, Don Beach, passed six years ago. Maureen was retired from a successful career she built at Flora Gee’s Greenbelt Early Learning Center. It was here that she taught the youngest classes of future leaders. She earned citations for excellence, and spoke often of how she was rewarded every time one of her past students who were then in Jr. of Sr. high school, returned to the Center to visit their beloved Miss Mimi.
