Helen Elizabeth Frances Perrin (George) It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Elizabeth Frances Perrin announce her passing on Saturday May 18th, 2019 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Helen, in her 95th year, was born on May 27th, 1924 in Queensport, Nova Scotia. She was the devoted wife and best friend of the late Stanley Perrin for 68 years. Cherished Mother of Nancy and her husband Bill Beswick of Georgetown and Debbie and her husband Russ Gage of Whitby. Loving and proud Nana of Christopher, Patrick and Colleen Beswick, Ryan Gage and Kristen (Braden) Sherwood. Helen was predeceased by her parents Osborne George and Elizabeth Plante, husband Stanley, son Donald, sisters Verena Dobson and Pearl Harber and sister-in-law and brother-in-law May and Len Woodard as well as many other family members. Lovingly remembered by her sister Vivian MacInnis and family, nephew Phil Woodard and family and many nieces and nephews. Thank you to the wonderful, caring staff at Revera Greenway Retirement Village in Brampton. Family and friends will be received at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home, 96 West Street, Brantford on Friday May 31st from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held in the Chapel at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday June 1st at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Donald K. Johnson Eye Centre at the Toronto Western Hospital ( 399 Bathurst Street, Toronto), Diabetes Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
