Albert "Albie" Berman

Albert “Albie” Berman, 86, of Las Vegas, NV formerly of Los Angeles, CA and Newton, MA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 30, 2019. Born in Boston, MA son of the late Dora (Wasserman) and Harry Berman. He was raised in Newton, MA and a graduate of Boston Latin Class of 1950. After graduating from Boston Latin he attended Northeastern University and then in 1952 he entered the United States Coast Guard and proudly served until 1955. He was in Boston for a short time and then ventured to Los Angeles, CA where he worked alongside his father in the families dress business, Elegant Miss. For over 50 years he lived in Los Angeles, CA Albie decided to change his occupation and work in the automobile industry until his retirement years. He retired to Las Vegas, NV. Albie was married to the late Mildred Berman and was fortunate to have two very special long time companions, the late Kathy Hearn and the late Sophie Lentini. He was very proud of his family. Oldest of his siblings, preceded in death by his brother Michael, he is survived by his sister Charlotte and her husband Howard Goldberg, sister-in-law Adele Berman and his beloved aunt Ida Kublin. Albie is also survived by his niece Deanna Berman, his nephews Lee Goldberg and his wife Jessica, Scott Goldberg and his wife Stacy, great nieces and nephews; Emily, Ethan, Summer, Sasha, and Harry Goldberg as well as many cousins.
