Antonio Tardioli

Peacefully, Antonio Tardioli, "Tony", passed away on November 19, 2018, at the age of 91. Born in San Martino in Pensilis, Italy in 1927, Tony soon became the adventurer. At the age of 24 he traveled to a new life in Canada, residing in Ottawa, where he met his wife Elizabeth ("Betty", nee Caccamo). From there his pioneering spirit brought Tony and his family to the Vancouver area in 1971. He enjoyed playing golf year round, watching sports, and was the ultimate cook and mechanic who could build, fix or re-purpose almost anything. Tony is pre-deceased by his wife Elizabeth, and is survived by his daughter Nancy, son Leo (Maylene), and grandsons Nicholas and Marc. Tony will also be remembered by his many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Radovic, Dania Manor and Dr. Neil Long and his team at Burnaby General Emergency. A celebration of Tony's life will be held at 11 am, on Tuesday November 27 at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby B.C.
