Harry Marcus Kittelson

Harry was born in Macoun, Sask, living his later years in New Westminster, BC. In 1945 he went to Ontario, where he worked for Great Lakes Paper Company in the Woodlands Division. In July of 1952, he left the Company and returned to Regina, Sask., where he worked for Tremaine Cartage until July 1956. He than left for B.C, where he worked for the Power Commission, which is now called BC Hydro & Power Authority. He was with the Power line crew Department in Various districts until May 1976 when he than went to Surrey, BC. He worked with the maintenance department until his retirement in April 1988. Harry passed away peacefully at the age of 92, at St. Micheal’s Hospice, in Burnaby, BC. He had been diagnosed with cancer. Harry was predeceased by his parents Kittel Kittelson & Olene (Humberstad) Kittelson, siblings, Bernice (Stanley) Peterson, Annie (Carl) Walgren, Carl(Esther)Kittelson, Ole Kittelson. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Martha (Bob) Pow, her children, David(Sue) Pow, Linda(John)McGinn, Donna(Jeff) Banks, many nieces, nephews, great & great, great nieces, nephews. Harry will be remembered for his Great smile, laughter, kindness, gentle way, thoughtfulness of others, love of the farm life... Service will be in the summer, Aug. 12/19 @1:00 @ Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby, BC.
