Mileva Hadley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mileva Hadley (Carr). Predeceased by her husband Gordon in August 2007. Mel is survived by her son, Wayne (Christina), daughter Maureen (Leo); grandchildren, Michael, Kristen (Christopher) and Danielle and great- grandchildren, Blake and Isla. Mel loved to travel and upon her return, would often begin planning her next cruise or gambling trip to Laughlin, Nevada. Mel was also predeceased by brother Peter and sisters, Mary and Eva. She is also survived by her brother, Tony as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29 in the reception room of Bell Funeral Chapel, 4275 East Hastings, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mel's memory to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Belvedere Care Centre for their care of Mom during her time there.
