Obituary of Rosa Mobilio
It is with great sadness and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosa Mobilio that lost her courageous battle with cancer on September 7, 2019. She is predeceased by her parents, Paolo and Annunziata Rubino, her loving husband, Domenico and sister Grazia and brother Frank. She is survived by her 3 children Annamaria (Giovanni), Silvana (Salvatore) and Paul (Elizabeth); as well as her 6 grandchildren Claudia (Chris), Linda (Giovanni), Vittorio, Melissa (Tyler), Jenna and Nico and her 4 beautiful great-grandchildren Marcus, Dante, Malcolm and Olivia. Rosa is also survived by her loving siblings Antonio (Rina) Domenica, Anna (Enzo), Rita (Domenico), Nazzareno (Mariella), Salvatore (Pasqua), Carmela (Salvatore), Umberto (Anna), Sister-in-law Elsa, countless other brother and sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada and in Italy. Rosa remained dedicated to fight her illness. She remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final months. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Palliative Care Team at Burnaby Hospital that helped in her final days. Mom you will be greatly missed and we are comforted by the knowledge that you are together again with dad and in the arms of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. A viewing will be held on Thursday September 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St, Burnaby BC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 13th and 12:00 Noon at St. Helen’s Parish, 3860 Triumph St. Burnaby. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park South Mausoleum.
