OBITUARY
Mr. Roy Tickell
April 9, 1929 – July 6, 2018
IN THE CARE OF
Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park
Born and raised in East Vancouver.
Member of Vancouver Police Force 1950s, retired from Western Canada Steel as C.O. Sept 30, 1988.
Dad was one of nine children. Leaving behind two surviving sisters Lillian and Phyllis. Dad spent many years at Deep Bay Fishing Resort on Vancouver Island.
Leaving many fond and happy fishing expedition memories for his children and grandchildren.
Survived by children, Stephen, Bradley, and Lynne.
Joining his wife Margaret and siblings after a long illness and suddenly succumbing to septic shock. Dying peacefully with his daughter by his side.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation and Diabetes Foundation.
A private service to be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday July 21st at 1:00pm.
Gathering at the family home afterwards.
