Mrs. Shirley Sau King Fung

Shirley Sau King Fung, age 55, of Burnaby, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019. Her husband Henry Fung, son Christopher Fung and daughter Andrea Fung survive her. Shirley was born on February 14, 1963 in Hong Kong and immigrated to Vancouver in 1967 with her family. She attended Lord Nelson Elementary and Templeton Secondary schools. Shirley went to the University of British Columbia for post-secondary and graduated from the Faculty of Commerce. She received her Chartered General Accountant (CGA) designation while employed with the Federal government and worked there until her retirement. A funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:00 am with a burial service to follow at the Legacy Heights section of Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 11:30 am. Memorial donations can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the BC Cancer Foundation in Memory of Shirley Sau King Fung.
