IN THE CARE OF
Foster's Garden Chapel Funeral Home & Crematorium
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our sister and aunt, May Gee on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the age of 79.
May was born on November 1, 1939 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. When the family moved to Calgary, she attended Langevin Junior High and Crescent Heights High School. May was employed at Canadian Freightways for many years and eventually went to work in the resources industry, ending her career at Pembina Pipeline Corporation. She was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for many years. May loved to sew and read. She made many pieces of clothing for herself and family members. She also made many stuffed toys and keepsakes for her nieces and nephews.
May is survived by her brother Wing (Barbara) Gee; sister Marie Gee; nieces Sherry Mosmann, Shannon (Kenneth) Richmond and Angela (Domenic) Colabella; nephews Michael (Kimberley) Gee and David (Marija) Chow; as well as seven grand nieces and nephews. May was predeceased by her loving mother, Ethel Gee and brothers, Gene Chow and Hank Gee.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Prince of Peace Manor for their care and friendship during the past four years.
At May's request, there will be no funeral service. If so desired, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary, 800 - 7015 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2H 2K6.
