Sandra Jean Reich

Sandra Reich, beloved wife of Robert Reich of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Besides her loving husband Robert, Sandra will be dearly missed by her children; Heidi (Greg) of Calgary, Rob of Calgary, John (Nadine) of Edmonton, Stephen (Janice) of Calgary, Colin (Lesline) of Calgary, nine grandchildren; Ben, Colby, Madison, Alexander, Amelia, Ella, Justine, Anthony and Sarah, her sister Val (George) of Kelowna and her brother Bonnar (Marilyn) of Penticton. Sandra moved from Dauphin, MB to Calgary with her family in 1974, where she and Bob raised their five children. She enjoyed a long career as a licensed practical nurse at the George Boyok and Glenmore Auxiliary Hospitals and volunteered countless hours with many charities and organizations. Sandra was a devoted and longtime member of the Forest Lawn United Church. She was an amazing pillar of strength and together this strength along with her faith in God, allowed her to rise to the occasion many times throughout her life, to help those in need. Her patience and benevolence will never be forgotten. All that knew her, loved her and her passing has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of her family. Sandra will be laid to rest at Queen’s Park Cemetery during a private Graveside Service.
