Arthur Gerard Jay Williams

Arthur Gerard Jay Williams passed away on March 12, 2019 at Hamilton General Hospital surrounded by the love of his family, in his 84th year. Loving husband of Monica (nee Ayow) for 52 years. Survived by his sons Anthony (Loradelle), Gregory (Felix), Mark (Debbie), Colin (Diane), and daughter Michelle (Andrew). Proud grandfather of eight grandkids and four great-grandkids. Also survived by his brothers Michael (Joan), and Patrick, sisters Cynthia Richards, Funglan Persimmon, Sr. Jeanne Williams, Frances Lee, and Lesley Anne Lie (Henk). Predeceased by parents Louis and Ellen Williams, siblings Ronald Williams and Joan Sue-a-Quan. Visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) on Sunday, March 17th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement’s Church (745 Duke Street, Cambridge) on March 18th at 11:00 a.m. Special thanks to the emergency responders and ICU staff at Hamilton General Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion provided during Arthur’s stay.
