Dennis George Brown

When you go through deep waters I will be with you - Isiah 43:2 With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Dennis George Brown passed away on Thursday July 25th, 2019 at the age of 72. Dennis was a proud, kind and caring family man. He worked for Budd Automotive for over 40 years and more recently in his retirement at Canadian Tire. He was a member of the Preston Legion Branch #126 and through the years Doon Valley and Galt Country Clubs. He served with Alliance Hockey Association as both a coach and representative of Cambridge Minor Hockey. Dennis loved to play golf at the Cambridge Golf Club Men’s Day Event, and he enjoyed taking care of his immaculate lawn and spending time at home with his family. Dennis was the soulmate to his wife Judy Brown. They loved one another for 52 beautiful years while raising a family, daughter Rene Knoop (Joe), son Jeff Brown (Nyshea), and four wonderful grandchildren Alyshea, Alexis, Quinn and Kehanah. Judy and Dennis have a love that was a gift and will forever be. They are so blessed for the years they shared and will always belong to one another in this lifetime and many more. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Mary and Lloyd Brown. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Gary Brown and so many extended family and friends. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the 2nd floor nurses and staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for the compassion and care they showed to Dennis.
