Doris Francis Marie Fairless

Doris Francis Marie Fairless passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital on Monday, March 4th, 2019 surrounded by her family. Loving wife to John Edward (Ted), devoted mother to Ronald (Martha), Mark and Brent (Bri-Anna). Cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents William and Hazel Nicholson (nee Toombs) and brother Norman Nicholson. Doris will be forever remembered by many extended family and friends. She was a receptionist at the Region of Waterloo Public Health in Cambridge. A proud former president of the Galt Jaycettes, former member of the Executive of the Galt 7th Cub Scouts and an active member of the Women’s Probus Club of Cambridge Riverside, she will be dearly missed. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Adam Wilson, Janet and the nursing staff, doctors, support staff and volunteers of Freeport Hospital, Cindy and Mylene of CBI for the compassionate care they provided. Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 from 11am – 12pm with a Memorial Service following at 12 noon at Coutts Funeral Home (96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge).
