Gisela Rosa Poulsen

Gisela Rosa Poulsen (nee Gottschall) has left us to be reunited with her beloved late husband Karl Poulsen, as well as her parents Willy and Martha and sisters Irmguard and Waltraud. Gisela passed away peacefully at Cambridge Hospital having just celebrated her 91st birthday. Gisela was born in Jane Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1959, met Karl, the love of her life shortly thereafter and celebrated 39 years of marriage together before he passed on in 1999. She has missed him dearly and it eases our pain that they are now together again. She will be deeply missed by her family, dear friends and extended family in Ontario, the U.S., Denmark and Germany. Honouring Gisela’s wishes, there will be no funeral service and immediate cremation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at the Sunset Villa Mindepark, 7150 Concession 1 (Crieff Road), Puslinch, N0B 2J0. Reception at the John Bayus Park Hall, 1469 Sheffield Rd, Cambridge from 2 – 4 p.m. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Hamilton SPCA for Gisela’s love of animals or the charity of your choice
