IN THE CARE OF
Barthel Funeral Home
Harry Clinton Wheeler passed away peacefully at his home in Guelph on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, just three days prior to his 93rd birthday.
Predeceased by his wife Edna Wheeler (Sudden, nee Eagle) (1998), special friend Gale McDougall, and sister Gwen Bott.
Harry loved gardening flowers and vegetables. He served in RCN in WWII, and later worked at Franklin Mfg. and Harper Diesel. He was a former member of the Kitchener A.N.A. We will also remember him as a strong supporter of unions, and the NDP since 1960s. Many great memories will be remembered by his step-son Donald Sudden (Grace), grandson Mike Sudden (Linda), a great-granddaughter, three great-great-grandchildren, and a niece and nephew. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of his Life will take place on July 6, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with a time to share memories at 2:30 pm at Barthel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
