Lester Victor Spiros Colis

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Lester Victor Spiros Colis Jr. (“Bubba”) passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the age of 37, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Always described as a teddy bear, Lester was known for his big heart, bravery, and his compassion for those who were less fortunate. He was a valued employee of Linamar for several years. Beloved son of Les and Pam Colis. He will also be missed by his sister Christina Mair (Kevin), nephew Xander, grandma Colis, godfather Andy, godmother Cindy, and many more uncles, aunts, and cousins. Lester was predeceased by his grandma and grandpa Scheuerman, grandpa Colis, and great-grandfather Wozniak. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) on Friday, January 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A private Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 5th with interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery at noon. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Cambridge Humane Society.
