On behalf of the family, it was somewhat of a struggle to put into words all the wonderful things that made up this special man who meant so much to us all. It’s simply not possible to summarize his strength of character and what he represented to our family. The pillar. The patriarch. The tireless volunteer. The endless hard-worker who was always so motivated to preserve and support what he built and loved. And what he loved the most was his family, who was always his first priority. Lucien always wanted to ensure that we never forgot our roots and values. He helped to build a strong foundation that will support generations to follow; and he will never be forgotten.

Our family was so fortunate to have had Lucien in our lives and we will always hold precious memories of him in our hearts. May he rest in peace now that God has called him home to be at his side.

My most fond memories I have of Lucien are the time he took us north to go fishing with Marc Mercier and Pep Corriveau. We had a great time fishing in the streams for trout and playing cards at the cottage.
My second favorite memory revolves around Hockey. He was my coach a few times but i really enjoyed playing shinny on Saturday nights with a bunch of french guys at Dickson Arena.
RIP Lucien , great game.
