Pritam Kaur Soomal

Surrounded by her loving family, Pritam Kaur Soomal passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at the age of 104, just two months shy of her 105th birthday. Pritam was the beloved wife of the Late Udam Singh Soomal for 62 wonderful years. A devoted mother to her seven children: Harbhajan Dhesi (Late Sadhu Dhesi), Harbhajan Soomal (Gurpal), Malkit Soomal (Charanjit), Late Lashkar Soomal (Surinder), Gurmit Thandi (Harcharanjit), Jaginder Soomal (Late Shinder Soomal), and Bahadur Soomal (Minder). She was the matriarch of the Soomal family, with a five-generation legacy that she leaves behind, which includes 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. On Wednesday May 8th, 2019, a Funeral Service will be held for Pritam Kaur Soomal, and she will be cremated at Holy Cross Crematorium. Pritam's last rites will be in Punjab, India where her ashes will be dispersed by her family in the country where she was born. Pritam will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her extensive family and friends.
