Mina was born in Flatrock, Newfoundland and spent her married life on Bell Island. Widowed at the young age of 38 and left to raise 8 children alone, she rose to the challenge and did an amazing job. Mina was both selfless and generous. She never complained, always had a positive outlook, and possessed a strength that amazed all around her. Mina always put her family first and never wanted to be a bother to anyone. She was fun loving with a witty sense of humour and a contagious laugh. She could always be counted on to be ready to go shopping in a moment's notice. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main Street, Cambridge) on Wednesday February 27, 2019 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
