Lewis Irvine of Mann's Mountain passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the age of 66. Lewis was the husband of Cathy Morrison and father of Logan Irvine Morrison.
He was born in Flatlands on March 5, 1953 to Lionel and Margaret Irvine.
Lewis worked for 38 years as a Salmon Fishing Guide at Toad Brook Camp on the Restigouche River. He was an avid fan of George Jones and the Boston Bruins.
Lewis is survived by Cathy & Logan, his mother, Margaret and siblings: Lois (Doug), Bertie, Deering, Jarvis, Debbie (Wilson) and Vaughan (Jennifer) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Lionel, siblings: Gary, Zelda (Barry), Glennis (Herbie), Ardith (Donald) and sisters-in-law Kathy (Deering) and Myna (Jarvis).
Pallbearers are Bertie, Deering, Jarvis and Vaughan Irvine and Bryan MacNaughton and Wayne Boudreau.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ann LeBlanc, Jodi Irvine, Danny Falle, Doug Murray, Jonathan Falle and Herbie Lodge.
Funeral Service to be held at Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St, Campbellton, Thursday at 2:00 pm.
Visitation Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday at the Chapel from 1:00 pm until time of funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Interment at Dawsonville Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
