Ruth Elizabeth Cable

Ruth Elizabeth Cable (Leschefske/Leach), 101, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019. Born June 28, 1917 in Detroit, MI. She was an elementary and special education teacher for 28 years in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Illinois. Ruth was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church and Land of Lincoln Club. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert W. Cable (August 28, 2005) and sister, Lois M. Moeckel (July 13, 2013). Ruth is survived by her son, Philip P. Daenzer (Kathleen); 3 grandchildren, Patricia R. Daenzer, David P. Daenzer and Barbara L. Buti (Jeffery); 2 great grandsons, Alec J. Buti and Eric D. Buti, and nephew, Fred Moeckel. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 8th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL 33991, between 9 to 11am with services and interment to follow.
