Julia Cossa

Julia Cossa, age 94, of Cary, died Sunday, August 4, 2019 at her residence. Born in Picinisco,Italy she was a daughter of the late Louis and Nancy. Julia married William Cossa on December 10, 1949 and they were married for 64 years. William worked for General Motors and Julia was a seamstress. Julia was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, William; brothers, Peter, Joseph, Victor, Albert, Alphonse; her sisters, Filomena, Emilia, Maria, Adelina, and a grandson, Matthew Cossa. Survivors include her sons, Bill Cossa (Amy) of Davenport, FL; Dennis Cossa of Cary; grandchildren, Kim Ray (Scott) of Centennial, CO, Stephen Cossa of Cary; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2019 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
