Margaret Ann McMullen

Margaret Ann McMullen, 91, of the Englewood and Greenwood Village neighborhoods has passed away. She was born to W.H. and Bess (nee, Long) Fey in Blackwell, Oklahoma in June of 1928. Margie was the only child born to the family. She attended the University of Oklahoma for a two years. She and Philip C. McMullen were married on West Point graduation day in 1949, and together, with his career in the military, they travelled all over the world. Their first child, Philip, was born in Germany, their second child, Ann was born in Oklahoma, and their third child, Mary, was born at West Point where Philip taught. Margie was a devoted house wife, and a wonderful officer's wife, and a beloved mother. She loved to cook, and her family always had a really good meal, with a healthy green salad; she was a wonderful hostess; she was an amazing gardener, she loved to play the piano; she loved being a Gramma; and her relationship with her husband was outstanding. Their relationship was always first, they made sure to make time for each other every single day. Margie is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. She is survived and remembered by her children, Philip, Ann, and Mary; grandchildren, Cole, Brian, Katie, Mac and Andy; 8 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 9am at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary. A funeral service will follow at 10am, both in the Chapel. Margie will be laid to rest at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery following her funeral service.
