Murlene E. Sellers

Murlene Elizabeth Shull Sellers Mrs. Sellers, 81, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 04, 2019 with family at her side. A native of Conover, NC, born on 04/26/1938, she was the only surviving Daughter of “J Murl” and “LiB” Shull, and her older Brother, Sonny, who preceded her in death several years prior. Murlene Graduated the Class of 1959, Charlotte Memorial School of Nursing, and lived her life as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, & Friend to All. She was a long-time active member in the Charlotte Ascension Lutheran Church for more than 50 years. Mrs. Sellers was preceded in her death by her husband of almost 60 years, Bill. Survivors of her family include Donna, daughter and her husband, Michael Hall, Son David, and his wife Theresa, along with Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Dylan, Tyler, and Katelyn. One Great-grandchild, Riley, from Grandchild, Elizabeth. A service to Celebrate Mrs. Sellers Life will be held at 12.00 pm Saturday, June 8, 2019 @ Ascension Lutheran Church with Pastor Stephen Newberg Officiating. Internment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive Visitors, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11am – 12pm.
