Dr. Frank William Malloway

Dr. Frank William Malloway passed away on June 12, 2019 at 3:10 am at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife Mary Malloway; children Elaine (Tom), Karen (Kevin), Kim (Andrew), Ann, Frankie, Kevin, Jason and Melinda (Arthur); siblings Marlene Silver, Hazel Silver; 25 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was precedeased by his parents Richard and Edna Malloway; grandparents Julius and Mary Malloway, brothers Clifford Malloway, Steven Malloway, Mervin Malloway, Richard Malloway and Vernon Malloway; sisters Aida Malloway, Gloria Malloway and Carol Fillardeau; grandson Claude LaRock and granddaughter Melissa Carlson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held a 9:00 am on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Tzeachten Community Hall, Chilliwack BC. "I know my purpose and fulfilled my duties to keep the culture and history strong. I shared my gifts with my family and friends all over the valley. Don't cry too long because only my body is gone. My spirit will always be watching over you all and forever in your heart. The best thing you can do for me is to take care of yourself. Our culture is your medicine, so sing your song, because I want to hear it. Carry on the teachings for the next seven generations, don't let our history die, make it stronger. I'm with Mom and Dad and the rest of our family now. I'm okay."
