Mitchell Chester Rudnicki, of Waterford, formerly of Clinton Twp., passed away on October 10, 2019 at the age of 99.
Adored husband of Irene for 74 years; dear dad of Ronald (Dawn) Rudnicki; proud grandpa of the late Dione (Theodore) Villella, III, Debra (Timothy) Kowalski, and Mark (Bethany) Rudnicki; great-grandpa of Halina Villella, Melody Villella, Devin Rudnicki, Nathan Rudnicki, and Mallory Rudnicki.
Mitchell was born in Detroit on June 30, 1920 to the late Chester and Aleksandra Rudnicki. He proudly served his county with the Army Air Corp. during World War II. Mitchell is preceded in passing by his brother, Theodore, and sister-in-law Helen (the late Arthur) Pircer.
The family will greet friends from 3:00pm-8:00pm on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am on Monday, October 14, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes, Sterling Heights. In State from 10:30am until time of mass. Entombment with military honors following at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
