Hermon Eugene Lindley
February 12, 1931 – October 2, 2019

Hermon Eugene Lindley, age 88, of Clovis, California passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2019. Hermon was born February 12, 1931 in Eastland, Texas.
Hermon loved music and taught himself how to play the piano at a young age. He also played the accordion and guitar.
In the early 1950’s he served in the Army as an Operation Technician during the Korean War.
After his military service, he moved back to Phoenix, Arizona and was involved in the music ministry with his church.
He met and then married Fay Goodin-McCarty in February 1961.
In 1963, he and his wife moved to Fresno, California to lead in the music ministry. Hermon was the choir director of The Echoes of Pentecost for over 20 years at Truth Tabernacle.
He was faithful to church, family, friends and work. He was most proud and content when he was with family.
Hermon had a huge positive impact on many people and was always concerned about their wellbeing.
Hermon is survived by; daughter Beverly Sharon Grider; daughter Deborah Franklin; son-in-law Troy Franklin; son Jeffrey Alan Lindley; daughter Lori Elaine Leist; and son-in-law William "Bill" Jay Leist; brother John Rufus Lindley; granddaughter Marsha Elaine (Grider) Arnold, granddaughter Malia Darlene Zamudio, granddaughter Larisa Darlene Franklin, grandson Troy Daniel "Danny" Franklin, grandson Aidan Jay Leist, grandson Ethan Cole Leist and grandson Owen Clay Leist.
Hermon was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Fay Lindley; son-in-law David Eugene Grider; sister Ima Wygal and sister Johnnye Stevens; grandson Micah David Grider.
A Visitation for Hermon will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
A Celebration of Life will occur Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Truth Tabernacle, 4411 North First Street, Fresno, California 93726.
A Committal Service will occur Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Clovis Cemetery, 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
Serving as pallbearers are David Moya, Rick Garrett, Gary Barnes, Jacob Hernandez, Herman Marchbanks, Steve Marchbanks, Bill Garrett and Paul Regnart.
