Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Christine earned two Master’s degrees and spent her career teaching elementary education as well as being an adjunct professor before retiring. Christine enjoyed cooking, especially Lasagna and pasta dishes. She loved reading, spending time with grandchildren, and traveling. She very much enjoyed her European vacations to Italy and Switzerland.

In addition to flowers, please share a special memory, a great laugh, or recipe you might have shared with Christine in the guestbook on the website. Christine's greatest legacy was her sons and grandchildren, Ava and Mac, who she cherished dearly and with whom she instilled the meaning of true love and family ideals.

Celebrating Christmas Eve with the entire Gargano family will always be amongst my most cherished childhood memories - those times with all the cousins, aunts and uncles are literally a cornerstone of what family means to me. A close second, and much more specific to Aunt Chris, was the time I spent student teaching with her at Thomas Hooker School. Those memories are forever etched in my heart - that extra bond made me feel an even closer connection to her, as did seeing the impact she had on the students whose lives she touched. More recently, I am forever grateful that she was able to meet my wife when our visits to Connecticut coincided over Easter 2018. Aunt Chris, you're eternally loved and forever alive in my heart!

Christine you made us laugh you gave us inspiration, hope ,love, joy, spiritual growth and the true meaning of life. Your love was contagious and never forgotten. I regret not spending more time with you. My heart is broken beyond words can describe. Until we meet again in a much more loving place called heaven you will always be in my prayers.

Christine was such a lovely, kind spirit. She was always so thoughtful, sending cards or little notes. She often provided support, good advice, and big hugs! I have many of wonderful memories, but some my favorite revolve around watching her and my grandma form an immediate and long-lasting friendship. God speed Chris!!

My memory of Christine is fun. She always seemed to have a smile on her face. She was a very hospitable woman. She had a way with italian food. I was lucky to have been fed by her! May the Lord Jesus truly give her his peace and to her family as well.

I’ll always remember Chris as having a generous heart and outgoing personality. We had many good times together with family and friends and she was the life of the party on many occasions. May she Rest In Peace in the arms of the Lord.
