SAUVE, Rene Donald – it is with great sadness the family announces his passing on Wednesday August 28th, 2019 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Rita (Caza). Loving father of Rene Jr. and Daniel (Melanie) Sauve and his chosen daughter Tammy Depater (Sylvain Ouimet). Adored grandfather to 7. Rene leaves behind his siblings Harvey (Carol) Sauve, Roy Sauve and Gladys (Arthur) Laframboise. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Claira (Lauber) Sauve, his son Richard and his siblings; Laurette Metevier (late Yvon), Stella Seguin (Fernand), Catherine Seguin (late Marcel), Alexander (late Rita), Viola Sauve, Georgette Laframboise (José), Kenneth (Shirley) and Ronald. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 10 a.m. on Friday September 6th, 2019 until the time of service. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 6th, 2019 at St. Mary Church in Williamstown at 1 p.m. with burial to follow.
