Violet June Meyer

It is with great sadness that the family of Violet Meyer announces her passing on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the North Island Hospital Comox Valley at the age of 90 years. She was born in Vancouver General Hospital in 1928. Violet was predeceased by her parents James and Violet (née Dubois) Kirk; brother Ross Kirk; son Douglas Teter; first husband Darwin R. Teter and second husband Henry Meyer. Violet will be lovingly remembered by her sons John (Maureen) Teter, Dave Teter and Dan Teter; grandchildren Sarah Teter, Jason (Leah) Teter and Jennifer Teter; sisters Margurite Radar and Fay (Bob) Frazer as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Celebration of Violet’s Life will be held at a later date. God saw you getting tired, And the cure was not to be So He wrapped you in His loving arms And whispered, “Come with me”. You suffered much in silence Your spirit did not bend You faced your pain with courage Until the very end. You tried so hard to stay with us Your fight was not in vain God took you in his loving arms And saved you from all pain. Asleep in Christ Jesus
