Martin Tessier

Retired GM employee of 34 years Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday December 28th, 2018 at the age of 85. Devoted husband of Barbara for 54 years. Loving father of Lynn (Mike), Darrin and Jason (Tania). Predeceased by his siblings Leo, Cecile (Clare), Maurice (Lenora), and in-laws Jack (Steven) and Karin (Bernie). He is fondly remembered by his sisters Mai (Carmen), Dorothy (Christopher), and Hilda (John). Devoted grandfather to Daniel, Spencer, Katie, Justin and Julia. Martin will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. His life was lovingly focused on his family. He was a spiritual man and involved in church activities including the Knights of Columbus and choir. Martin could always be found enjoying the outdoors and puttering around the garage. Visitation will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Hwy 2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Friday, January 4th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. THERESE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (3800 Courtice Rd. Courtice) on Saturday, January 5th at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations for the church memorial fund would be greatly appreciated.
