Alice H. Inness

INNESS, Alice – 96, of Dartmouth, passed away on February 3, 2019. Born in Ottawa, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Adulfina (Sabitsky) Lambe. Alice worked as a bookkeeper and helped her husband Joe with his businesses. She was an avid gardener, writer, cook and mother. Glasgow Hall was her home for over three years. She is survived by her daughter; Sheryl “Sherry” (Jerry) Smyth, son; Charles “Chuck”, nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband; Joseph, daughter; Joanne “Tara” and son; David. Special thanks to the many devoted staff members there, as Mom was cared for with compassion and dignity despite her physical challenges.
