Robert S Slagle Jr.

Robert Stanley Slagle, Jr. passed away March 3, 2019 at the age of 51. Robert is survived by his parents, Susan and Thomas McMaster and Robert S. Slagle, Sr., his daughter, Emily Slagle, his brother, Danolds Slagle and his two Siamese cats, Nari & Taz. Robert is lovingly remembered by all who knew him including his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert was born in Bristol, Tennessee on May 28,1967. He graduated from Lincoln Tech Culinary school to pursue his career as a chef. He was a chef on board ships during Fleet Week four times and received Admiral's Coins demonstrating their appreciation for his service. He later worked at Boca Marriott. Robert enjoyed deep sea fishing with his grandfather on the boat Cloud 9, bass fishing with his daughter, Emily, golfing, cooking for friends and especially family, collecting tarantulas, snakes, lizards and frogs, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and hunting when he was younger. He also enjoyed growing peppers to make homemade hot sauces. The Celebration of Life will be held at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home, 217 E. Hillsboro Blvd., Deerfield Beach, FL 33441 on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 1pm-5pm No flowers please. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Emily Slagle at 4880 SE Hanson Circle, Stuart, FL 34997
