Leonard Allen Mattocks

Leonard Allen Mattocks, 79, passed away on April 30, 2019. He was born on October 18, 1939 in Agra, OK to Bert and Zelma Mattocks. After High School, Leonard joined the Army. He worked in the oil field for a while, but ultimately ended up returning to the Army and stayed with them until retirement. Leonard married his wife, JoAnn, on September 19, 1979. They have attended Howard Memorial Baptist Church for 30+ years, where Leonard was a Gideon. Leonard enjoyed all sports, and was an avid OU fan. He loved to go fishing. He was a very loving and caring husband, and great father that any daughter would be lucky to have. Leonard is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Herbert Mattocks; and sister, Verna Faye Mattocks. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Mattocks; daughter, Patricia Scoggins; grandchildren, Alex and Anna Scoggins; sister, Mary Mattocks; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for Leonard will be from 4-8pm on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Del City. Funeral services will be at 2pm Saturday, May 4th at Howard Memorial Baptist Church with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City. Leonard will be receiving full military honors from the United States Army.
