Hazel Bernadette Thibault
Oct. 27, 1926 – May 1, 2019
Hazel Bernadette Thibault, age 92 of Plympton, Digby Co. left this world to join her other family in Heaven from the Digby General Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Plympton, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Racheal (Wagner) Amero.
Mom loved bowling, knitting, playing cards with her friends. She loved to sing and listen to old time country music, her favorite song was by Vern Gosdon “ That just about does it , don’t it”. The more family around her the better.
She was the proud mother of seven, sons Charlie (Carol), Wayne (Sandra), Lester (Darlene), Avard (Lola), daughters Delma (Roland), and Glenda, granddaughters Tammy, Tanya, Monica and grandson Adrien. Four beautiful great- grandchildren Jayden, Naomi, Madelyn and Ryan, many nieces and nephews and her last surviving sibling Patsy Wagner. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James, daughter Valerie, brothers Victor, Chester Jr., Eric, sisters Mary Alice, and Gladys.
Visitation will be 7-9pm Sunday, May 5, 2019 with prayers at 8 pm all from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby. Funeral service will be 11 am Monday from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby Father Vincent Onyekelu will officiate with burial in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Plympton. At the request of Hazel, there will be no reception after the service.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Digby General Hospital, also her many home care Caregivers, who loved her like their own Mother.
