Joyce Almira Farris

Joyce Almira Farris – Age 85 of South Range passed away at home peacefully in her sleep on May 19, 2019 Born in South Range, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Rossie (Silver) Robicheau. She loved her family and friends and took great joy being able to cook for them. If you stopped by, she would bring you a tea and feed you a meal. The family will always remember the smell and taste of her delicious homemade bread. She will Be always loved and forever missed by her Husband of 65 years, Arthur Farris and their children, Arthur “Ted” Farris, Joyce “Ann” Farris Confurius, Audrey Farris, David Farris, Sherry Carver, Hilda Farris, Ikie Farris, Jacqueline Farris, Sylvia Farris, William Farris. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren ; her sisters, Shirley, June, Nora and brothers, Stanley and Douglas. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by their son, Paul Farris. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, on Wednesday May 22 at Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (902-245-2525). A Service will be held 10am, Thursday May 23 from The Kingdom Hall, Digby followed by interment in South Range Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
