Peter Comeau

COMEAU, Peter Cedric -Age 76 of Marshalltown passed away May 3, 2019 in Tideview Terrace, Digby. He was the son of the late Reginald and Elizabeth (Dugas) Comeau. Peter worked for the rink as manager then went on to work at the Digby General Hospital where he retired. Even after retirement he kept busy in the strawberry field’s, blueberry bushes as well as helping Richard Gaudet on the lobster truck. Peter enjoyed sitting on his deck, coffee in hand to watch the traffic go by with his buddies that would stop by. He loved to bowl, hunt, golf, play hockey, baseball and enjoy the good outdoors. Tuesday evening country jam sessions were a favorite pass time with his friends, Shirley, Terri and Kathy. Peter will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his oh so big heart, beautiful smile and his quick wit. Peter is survived by sons, Kevin (Mae), Keith (Annette), Scott (Lana); sister in-law, Pauline Comeau; brother in-law, Clayton Vantassel; grandchildren, Justin (Kim) Harnish, Alyssa (Mark) Comeau, Torry (Sarah) Gervais, Taylor (Logan) Comeau, Jordan (Rebecca) Comeau, Shainna Comeau, Brody Comeau; great grandchildren, Maverick, Addison, Sophia, Ava; also many nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his loving wife and best friend, Annette; sisters, Norma and Leta Comeau, Geraldine Vantassell; brothers, Floyd and Gerald; sister in-law, Juliette Blinn and grandson, Tyson Harnish. The family would like to thank the many amazing home care workers and staff at Tideview Terrace whom all adored Peter. The family will be having a service at 12:30pm on Friday May 10, from Digby Wesleyan Church with Pastor Andrew Maves Presiding.
