Dolores M. Trimer

Dolores Trimer, 88, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019. She was born August 1, 1931 to Steve and Mary (Jerome) Byzkrony in Detroit, Michigan. She worked as a bookkeeper for Jay Bird Automation and later, the Monaghan Knights of Columbus. Her greatest loves were dancing, music, flower gardening, and most of all, being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Algird "Al" Trimer; her parents; and her sisters, Aileen Thomas, Shirley Kozma, and Patricia Deininger.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cynthia (Roger A.) Wiessner, Kathleen Ansama, Christopher (Eleanor) Trimer, and Margaret (Daymon Hartley) Trimer; her grandchildren, Randy Wiessner, Michael Scott Wiessner, Christopher Ross Trimer, Nik Hartley, and Karina Hartley; her great-grandchildren, Aidan Wiessner, Colin Wiessner, and Ian Wiessner.
A Requiem Mass, in Latin, will be celebrated on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 9 am at St. Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour St. in Lansing, on the lower level. A Funeral Mass, in English, will follow at 10 am in the Cathedral.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dolores's honor to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
