Obituary of Mrs. Patricia Jean Masters-Publico
On Thursday, May 2, 2019, Patricia J. Masters-Publico boldly walked into the arms of her precious savior. Known as Patti, Trisha, Trish, PJ, Mom, or Nonna, she was undeniably a woman of faith, an unsinkable spirit with a vigor for family and a fire for the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Bernice Masters, and her husband, Tony Publico. She leaves behind her children Dominic Publico and wife Dana, Jeana McMurray and husband Steven, and Annabella Boas. She is survived by her grandchildren Madisyn McMurray and Cassidy McMurray, her brother and sister-in-law Clark and Joanne Masters, and her nephews Justin and KC Masters and their families, Bailey, Savannah, Desiree, Caleb, Michael and Abigail Masters. She is also celebrated by her uncle Richard Lux, cousins, the Rhoads, and many extended family members in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and beyond. Trisha was known as an enthusiastic, courageous, spirit-filled mentor, mother and businesswoman. She thrived for over 6 years with stage IV breast cancer when original prognosis was 6 months. A fighter of epic proportions with an unshakeable hope, a role model for faith during the storm. A service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at the Shadowridge Golf Club in Vista, California at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to Samaritan’s Purse, the Jesus centered organization known best for Operation Christmas Child. Donations can be made online at samaritanspurse.org. More than anything, she does not want her family and friends to feel sad or sorry for her. This day is a day of joy, reunion in the heavenlies and a celebration of the blessing we all received by knowing and loving her. In the spirit of celebration she requested that we wear colors that acknowledge the fun, excitement, and zest for life that she shared with every person in a way that was unique to each of us. “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.” Psalm 30:11
