Christopher D. Conkle

Christopher D. Conkle passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 8, 2019. He is survived by his parents Roberta "Birdie" Conkle (J.R. Gonzales), David E. & Mary Conkle, his sister Katy and brother-in-law Rob Gordon, step-sister Lizzie Nush, his best friend Ryan Edgren and most recently, his newly adopted family Cindy, Jane and Alex Shields. Chris was born in Valparaiso Indiana on May 4, 1978 where he was raised, and graduated from Valparaiso High School class of '96. In the late 90's he was a Corporal for the Lake Eliza Volunteer Fire Dept. His journey through life led him to Ohio, eventually making his home in Springboro. He was employed by Cincinnati Bell and was member of CWA local 4400, and a new member of Community Christian Church. Chris was an avid motorcycle rider and loved riding and exploring his countryside. Several years ago he was founder and president of Cincinnati-Dayton Chapter 1-51 Vulcan Riders which is no longer, but when active, rode as advocates for children and children's causes. Chris is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, and leaves behind many friends and co-workers. He was loved by all, and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St. Franklin, Ohio 45005 on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 3 to 6 pm. with services immediately following.
